Shayla graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She also completed her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in autism from Ball State University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Shayla particularly enjoys working with individuals developing and expanding their language and communication skills. She finds it exciting to work with families and staff to develop goals and teaching techniques that are specific to each client’s needs, along with using client’s strengths to expand their skills in unique ways.
